I started my wrestling career with the now defunct FTW ( Fierce Threat Wrestling) as the Fan Favorite and role model Captain Whitebread.
As the captain i got to full explore the lengths of my talent on the stick what you humanoids would call a microphone. I entertained crowds at merlins night club like no other. I also got to step in the rings with some of the greatest Wrestlers in Newfoundland history like Matt Richards, Luco Brawn, Lance Romance and Bad Boy Batty Bat. Me and Lance Romance actually formed the greatest tag team ever one night to take on Luco and Matt Richards, we were know as Breakfast in Bed. While not very impressive that night we lit up the faces of everyone in attendence. Unfortunately FTW closed its doors and The Captain was forced to seek somewhere else to entertain.

CEW
This is where Mike Burry got to shed his skin and become the wrestler he has always dreamed of becoming. This was the birth of the future of Wrestling in Newfoundland. This was POV. I started my career in CEW pretty shakily as i lost my first match to a young Magnus. Although i think the guys an ass clown he is so talented. We had an asstastic match that night and thrilled nobody but i look back on it today as a learning experience. That night was also the debut of the greatest move i The emmancipation of inovation have ever Created The Paragon Bomb.
It was originally going to be called the Bay Whop Drop but do to my fear of my good friend Larry i dropped that. Later that night i won a 20 man Battle royal. This would be my last victory for some time. The very next show i was alligned with the great New Dynasty. The members in this group are an all star cast. We have Dt Power who may be the greatest natural mat wrestler in NF. Next we had the Jackhammer who could pound anyone into the ground and has had like 8 years experience. The next two are probably the two people i hold in the highest regard here for trying to help me out and being amazing wrestlers and great with the crowd. The coolest Human Alive 2 dam Hyp. I dont think anyone is better than this guy, he is talent personified and throughout my career has alway been there to lend a helping Hand. The Next was Nearly God Norman Tharx, a former wrestler of the year and my reason for joining wrestling here in NF. I went to see a show a few years ago and Norman was in a cast and couldnt wrestle but he still ended up being the biggest player that night. He can do anything in this buisness and on that night i wanted nothing more to step into that ring and be him. Welll here i was a New Dynasty Lackey, but i quickly got the hang of what i was doing and became a full fledged member. One night the jackhammer was injured and was no longer able to wrestle so i won my first title, thats right i won a belt without even getting a pinfall victory in cew. I was made the tag team partner with My Hero Norman Tharx.
I ended up letting Norman down later that night when i lost the belts after Vince Austin superbombed me through a table. I kept working along in CEW and paying my dues until a young talent named 187 who had just become the IC champ decided to defend his belt against me. I was ready so not only did i challenge him for the title i got him to put his career on the line. We had an amzing match that night, one i will never forget. I caught 187 in my pillar of virtue out of a hurricaranna and made him tap out. After the match we shook hands and i showed the man the respect he desrved. There was no time to be a Jerk that night i just wanted to enjoy my first real title victory. But i couldnt because the fans didnt show me the respect i deserved after giving their mcdonalds eating gelatinous asses the match of the year no, they just said Magnus is cool. What the hell is that so the very next show i put my title on the line as well i convinced my nemesis Magnus to put his gutterskank valet Violet on the line too. After i finshed magnus off in that great match cleanly with a chair i went to take my hideous prize and was greated with a slap. That slap resulted in a pillar of virtue for Violet and a months suspension for me. During my suspension they stripped me of my title the ic reign was over and so too i thought my career. When i came bck things were different. Norman was no longer an ally but a ass pirate. I got my chance my first night back to wrestle the man i have compared myself too my whole career. That night i wrestled Lance Romance. We had an amazing match which i am still in awe of today. Lance came out on top that night but the fued wasnt over. The new Dynasty died the very next show as 2 dam hyp and Kilfoy joined with Luco Brawn to form FTW. Me and the amazing DT Power were left in the cold but we pooled our talents to beat a legndary team who consisted on that night of only Vince Austin, and the remanants of the old school were crowned cew tag champs that night. I won my third title. This is usually as far as most people get three belt here in CEW. Later that night i also faced one of my idols 2 dam hyp
in a respect match. I was so upset that he left CEW and left me in th cold but he wasnt at all he hyperstunnered me. Later we had our match and it was fantastic and just as the ref was recovering at the end i rolled out of a german suplex attempt and apllied the pillar of virtue to 2 Dam, He made it to the ropes only to be pulled to the center of the ring where he said I Respect You Mike Burry. After that i was on top of the world and i went to merlins and kicked major ass and still i got no respect from the humanoids. They even forced me to walk out on a show one night. My most memorable match there was a tag match starring me and my little brothe Jason against the team that beat me and rick. We took on my arch nemesis Magnus and my hero Norman tharx. After ome interference from Seth Ryan we lost the match. Right afterward i challenged Magnus to face me for the belt i never lost the IC title. That match went my way and after i put my feet up on the ropes and got the three i celebrated. But to my shagrin my idiot little brother told the ref i had my feet on the ropes. So th the match started again and Norman Tharx stuck his huge nose in a nd cost me my title.
CEW Wrestler of the Year
The next show was our anniversary show, and at the start yours truly was named Wrestler of the year. I am the 4 man to be named wrestler of the year the others are Bad Boy batty Bat, Norman Tharx and vince Austin. Thats impressive company.
I went out that night and also won the belt i desired the most the NF heritage title, my fourth title here in CEW. That is the first belt in cew and has been worn by all the greatest wrestlers. So here i am its my opportunity to be the man and take my name and my family to the top in CEW. Thats right people in just three years i have risen to the very top here in CEW and wrestling in NF and there is no where to go here but up.
